What to expect in consultation
In a focused 15-minute meeting we talk through the color you want, review recent color history, and look at photos you bring. The goal is to establish realistic expectations, note any previous chemical work, and outline what follow-up services might be required to reach your desired result.
Clients often value that we listen and address concerns about hair health and past experiences. That conversation helps identify whether additional time or treatments will be needed during the full color appointment to protect hair condition and achieve the color outcome you want.
Planning color and procedure
During the consultation we map the likely procedure steps and discuss trade-offs like maintenance, color longevity, and how local conditions — hot, humid summers and frequent spring weather changes — can affect upkeep. We don’t perform color in this visit; instead we plan what the actual service will involve.
Because many clients commute along US 75 or use Mockingbird Lane, we structure recommendations around scheduling convenience and after-work or weekend availability. If additional services are necessary, we’ll explain how they affect timing so you can choose what fits your routine.
Pricing, time and retainer
The Color consultation is 15 minutes and priced at $50. That fee secures focused time with a stylist and is part of our booking process to prepare a clear plan before starting color work. It gives both you and the stylist a concise foundation for the full service.
A retainer is required to reserve the appointment and will be applied toward the final service price; it is non-refundable. Consultations are busiest in March, April, October, and November, so we recommend booking early if you need color ahead of seasonal changes or the holidays.
